The experienced staff at Ecuador Nature Expeditions has travelled and worked extensively throughout Ecuador. Bringing together our knowledge and experience, we provide the highest standard of quality and service in bird watching, wildlife and cultural tours in the rainforests, highlands, Galapagos and cloud forests of Ecuador.

Cristina Viteri
Cris, with a background in Ecology and Tourism, is the brains behind the business. She has extensive experience in running tourism programs and is responsible for the complex logistics of the business. She speaks English, French and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Japanese.

Juan Fernando Duran
One of the founders of the company and with a background in ecology and tourism, Juan Fernando has a passion for travel, wildlife and adventure. He speaks English, German and Spanish. Along with Cris, he started Ecuador Nature Expeditions to let the rest of the world know about this country and the importance of protecting its biodiversity.

Elizabeth Quinchiguango

Ely with a background in Tourism is the person on charge of our office administration and sales department. Ely with her enthusiasm and in coordination with Cris organize your itineraries in Ecuador and operate them guarantying you an unforgettable nature experience. She speaks English and Spanish and has a basic knowledge of French. 

 Monse Sumberg

Monse is on charge of sales, she is originally from Ecuador and currently she lives just outside Atlanta Georgia, she speaks English and Spanish fluently and she loves to show the people the incredible nature and cultural trips that Ecudador offers

One of the most experienced guides in Ecuador, Andrés has a background in biology and is a trilingual naturalist guide. He speaks English, French and Spanish fluently. He has tremendous enthusiasm, excellent knowledge of Ecuadorian history and a good knowledge of birdwatching.

Andrés Trujillo
A very knowledgeable guide with a background in Ecology and tourism, he has a decade of experience in the Amazon Rainforest and more than six years of experience birding elsewhere in the country. His passion for bird life is tremendous - he can identify many bird species with just the sound of there trill.

Edwin Pérez
An excellent guide specialized in the Amazon and cloud forest regions of Ecuador, Edwin offers energy, enthusiasm and a good knowledge of the birds of Ecuador.
